• Police Assure Of Promising Lead
The Bayelsa State Police Command has said it is still on the trail of Mrs. Beauty Siasia’s kidnappers, 60 days after her abduction.

Speaking on the update of Mrs. Siasia’s search, the state Police Commissioner, Uche Anozia, said operatives had sourced information that gave their investigation a promising lead.

He regretted police were yet to rescue her, as her abductors keep changing locations in the creek.

“The Command is appealing to the public to give the police useful information to fight crime in the state,” he said.

The 80-year-old mother of former Super Eagles striker and Coach, Samson Siasia, was abducted on July 15, 2019, by unknown gunmen in Odoni, Sagbama Local Council of Bayelsa State. She was first kidnapped in November 2015 and was released after ransom was paid.
